What defines The Sam Houston Insurance Agency
The Agency was founded by Charlotte and Mike Miles. In April of 2008, Kenneth and Kristy Starr purchased the Agency and moved it from Conroe to Madisonville. Ken is a licensed adjuster as well as property and casualty insurance agent, who has worked in construction the majority of his life. Kristy is also a licensed property and casualty insurance agent, who grew up in a family owned construction business. Motivated by the combined experience of business ownership, construction, and insurance claims Ken and Kristy decided to continue a journey to bring a new level of service and integrity to the Commercial Insurance Industry that originally began in 1992 with Charlotte and Mike.
Sarah Garrett is a licensed property and casualty insurance agent who brought her experience from being self-employed to the agency in October of 2008. Sarah began as an agent but her position at the agency has transitioned to include agency management and accounting.
Terri Langley also serves at the agency as a licensed property and casualty insurance agent. Since 2012 she likewise brings her previous experience as a commercial business owner to the team. Terri focuses on maintaining and developing existing clients as their businesses grow.
Dave Smith became a part of the team in 2016 and is now also a licensed property and casualty insurance agent. Dave has over 10 years of customer service experience. He uses his experience to help build relationship with new and existing clients.
